WHY MAGIC?
Some lessons are too important to simply talk about. They need to be experienced. Through the excitement of magic, Sitruc James captures students' attention and creates opportunities to explore meaningful topics in a way that feels natural, engaging and memorable. By combining entertainment with positive messaging, students are encouraged to think about how their actions affect others and how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
THE MESSAGE MATTERS.
At the heart of every anti-bullying show is a simple but important message: everyone deserves to feel safe, valued and respected. Students are encouraged to recognize the impact of bullying, find the confidence to speak up and understand that they have the power to make a positive difference.
KINDNESS MATTERS.
Small actions can make a big difference in someone's day.
EVERYONE DESERVES RESPECT.
Differences should be celebrated, not used to hurt others.
STAND UP FOR WHAT'S RIGHT.
Speaking up and supporting someone who needs help matters.
BE CONFIDENT IN WHO YOU ARE.
Every student deserves to feel accepted and valued.
MORE THAN JUST WATCHING.
PARTICIPATION THAT MAKES THE MESSAGE PERSONAL.
The best lessons are the ones students get involved in.
Throughout the performance, Sitruc invites students to participate in illusions, join the fun and become part of the experience. These moments create opportunities to reinforce the importance of looking out for one another, making good choices and having the confidence to stand up for what's right.
When students are part of the experience, the message becomes more than something they hear. It's something they can connect with.
THE CONVERSATION DOESN'T END WHEN THE SHOW DOES.
The impact of an anti-bullying show can continue long after the final illusion. Following the performance, Sitruc is available to speak with students who want to share their experiences or ask questions. Teachers can also receive activities such as word searches and colouring pages to help reinforce the show's messages and encourage further discussion. It's another way to bring the ideas of kindness, empathy and respect into the school community.
